It’s been relatively quite in the area the past few weeks.
SHUTDOWN PAY
Pay issues should be resolved from the shutdown at this point. If you are missing any pay and can pinpoint what you believe to be missing, Lori Olsen can most likely help you. If you are missing any deductions please call the number on the bottom of your LES.
Locailty rate adjustments have been finalized and are published on OPM.gov. We will see our locality pay increase from 25.11% to 26.04%. While we have not officially been notified when we will see our backpay and adjustments from the raise. I’m hearing rumors that we see the raise on Pay Period 8 LES.
SCHEDULE
Pay Period 11 was published this past week. Area refresher training will take place from May 20-24. Damien and I have have made the decision to not publish Return to Shift requests during this week so we can get everyone to refresher training. If you were shift adjusted, you will have to put in your own Return request. During refresher week we will show over guides on the day shifts but we are actually at guides. The same may be true throughout Pay Period 10 in which we have facility wide IST/Recurrent training.
AIRSPACE/PROCEDURES
We are 1 month into PAE commercial ops. Please keep me informed on any issues you may have with PAE traffic or any ideas that could help you work the extra traffic more efficiently. S46 will want to discuss LOA changes regarding PAE in the near future and I would appreciate any and all input.
SOLICITATION FOR ARTICLE 5 to the TRAINING DEPARTMENT
We are in need of an Article 5 to the training department for stage 3 labs this summer. Dates are tentatively set for July 15-August 23. Please let me or Barry know if you are interested in this detail.
