Round 1 is complete. Next step is a slight change to past years bidding. There will be a pause for an undetermined amount of time before round 2 begins. Jason Poole and I will collaborate to reduce the amount of leave spots left. We started round 1 bidding with 1100 opportunities. We bid 320 of those in round 1. Management is only required to leave 376 opportunities for the remainder of the bidding.
As of right now I do not have a start date for round 2. I have informed Jason that we are done with round 1 and the soonest we may be able to have a meeting is Friday. We will black out the bid books as well as the online sheets before beginning round 2.
Dream sheets are due by Friday, October 26 at 1300. I will be attending CFS between October 22-25. Dream sheets will not be accepted after that time as it is a 2 day extension over the BWS MOU timeframe.
Trainee lines will be built during the same meeting to reduce leave opportunities. Trainees will begin bidding schedules and leave when the CPCs begin bidding round 2 leave.
