In preparation for our biennial NATCA Convention that will be in Philadelphia, Troy, Drew and I attended the Pre Convention meeting in Denver. Along with our fellow regional Northwest Mountain (NNM) facilities and jointly with the Central Region (NCE), we discussed the latest goings on in our union while also fleshing out all of the amendments and resolutions being proposed for the Philadelphia Convention next month.
Some of the highlights were:
- Safety
- Legislative (HATCH ACT MATERIAL, DO NOT OPEN THE LINK BELOW AND SHARE AT WORK)
- The Respect campaign
- ATC Reform after the AIRR Act has gone
- Staffing
- What to expect at the Philadelphia Convention in terms of activities and training (REGISTRATION DISCOUNTS END ON 3/20 AND WILL GET MORE EXPENSIVE THE CLOSER IT GETS!)

As far as the amendments and resolutions, we will have a local meeting this Friday at the Rainbow Cafe at 1500L where we will discuss and seek your guidance on how you want us to vote and accurately represent our local. Please try and attend.
